In concrete terms, this means powerful guitar riffs, catchy hooklines and distinctive vocals that vary between powerfully clear and charmingly uncouth. Always carried by a powerful, driving foundation of bass and drums. PIA UNITED celebrates the 'resurrection' of the clear and at the same time snotty and cheeky attitude to life of the 80s of the last century.
The protagonists of this band are four old hands from East and West, with a musical past in punk, rock and metal (years of construction between 1969 and 1979) and a young rabbit (first registered in 2006).
Mon Général Lütsch, Sir Herrle, Rob a.D. and Costja Chaos have experience from dozens of successful releases and several hundred concerts (including in Dubai and on Rapa Nui/Easter Island). The young, self-confident, cheeky girl Pia Höhne scores with her distinctive voice and her amazing skills on guitar and drums. As a village girl, she also belongs to the volunteer fire department and the local fishing club. It goes without saying that she has the final say in all decisions.
Another unique selling point is her creative use of words. "In the tradition of the New Germanic Wave, we create words that do without explanation. And thus stand on their own." Inspired by creations such as "Kebabträume" or "Mauerstadt”, PIA UNITED creates its own neologisms. For example: "SirenenGermanland", "self-defense mode" or "play list taste-winning composition".
